Individuals
The Outdoor Church solicits contributions directly from the
members of its supporting churches, through preaching, seminars and
discussion groups, and the distribution of informational brochures
and packets. More than
one hundred individuals have provided support for the Outdoor Church
in the last two years.
The monthly communion offerings at its many supporting churches and
the collections taken at the bi-annual ecumenical services of the
Harvard Square Clergy Association are dedicated to the support of
the Outdoor Church. The
Outdoor Church encourages and solicits contributions from
individuals who live in Cambridge and who participate as volunteers
and as lay ministers in the programs of the Outdoor Church from time
to time.
Contributions
The Outdoor Church depends on the generosity of the foundations, churches and individuals who provide financial and other assistance for its ministry to the chronically homeless men and women of Cambridge. We urge you to join us in this extraordinary work. In addition to financial support, the Outdoor Church welcomes contributions of clean white socks, small toiletries and, in the winter, gloves, hats and scarves. Please send your check to:
